We will answer any questions you may have on the Club’s basic membership requirements, and we can forward to you the Club’s Membership Application form.
If you are new to tramping, you’ll be advised to start by checking us out - come on some Light tramps, see our Upcoming Trips page.
A basic level of fitness is an advantage, but you do not need to be super-fit.
If you already have some experience, let us know.

Club nights
The Manukau Tramping Club meets on the first Monday of each month at 7.15pm, in the Anglican Church Hall, Coles Crescent, Papakura.
We have a short meeting on Club business, mainly about plans for upcoming tramps. Then we'll have a presentation - maybe some Club members who have just been to Rakiura Stewart Island (for instance) or an expert on foot health (an important matter for trampers).
Everyone is welcome to attend our Club nights, including non-members. There is no charge to attend.
If the first Monday in the month is a public holiday, the meeting is held on the second Monday.
The Club's history
Our Club was formed in 1976, which means we are coming up to our 50th anniversary!
Membership today is around 120, with a wide range of ages. New generations of trampers are making sure the Club remains a welcoming and friendly place, and caters to different levels of ability.
We love to see new people with us out on the hiking trails and at monthly Club nights.
